The apartment hotel, which is surrounded by pine trees and palms, lies right by the wonderful fine sand beach of Playa de Muro. There is an array of shopping and entertainment venues in the area surrounding the hotel. Alcuida is 7 km away and easily reached using the regular bus service. There is a bus stop directly in front of the resort. A selection of nightclubs are top be found just 2 km away.The hotel was built in 1971 are renovated in 2004 beside a main road. It consists of 111 apartments on 5 floors as well as a large garden area. The hotel's facilities include a pleasant lobby, a 24-hour reception with a safe, a currency exchange desk, lifts, a café as well as a bar. It has a TV room, a games room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs on request. In addition, it offers Internet access (for an additional fee), bicycle hire as well as a secure bicycle storage facility, laundry service and medical assistance. Additional services include a kids club and a playground.The stylish apartments come equipped with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, Internet access and a safe. "I'm writing this review based on my experience and believe me this wasn't good at all. I made a reservation at the and of january and they kept it pending for a few weeks until I wrote them a simple e-mail with simple questions. Thereafter the problems started and never ended. They demanded severeal thousands of euroes more based on a so-called "typo" and "system error". The advertised price was around 1100€ and they said this was made by a mistake and I need to pay more and more. Never answered my emails when I started to basing my EU protected rights about the clear pricing information they just cancelled my reservation without any try to have a conversation and a fair solution. Me and my family never experienced this kind of rudeness in customer service and hospitality and it damaged a lot to us both in financal and psychological level. I would never recommend to book any accommodation at Ses Fotges.

fantastic week by the white sandy beach

Imagine .. you wake up by a beautiful sun tickling your eyes. The sound of the waves gently caressing the white sandy beach fills your ears. You go up, dress casual and hit the all inclusive package.. buffet breakfast, chef making omelets and fried eggs .. then you hit the beach. End of October water is still warm, air is 26C. At lunch time you hit the beach bar and take lunch with free drinks. After that back to the beach, just few meters away. In the evening there is a huge buffet dinner, drinks and then entertainment program at the beach bar, serving cocktails .. maybe fancy a long walk under the moonlight .. with other words, super vacation. Staff is great, rooms very clean, view from the room is gorgeous. It really deserves a high score. We had a fantastic week ther.

Good location

A fairly quiet hotel and good location, poolside leads right onto the beach. Quiet part of the resort but a few restraunts and supermarkets close by. Hotel faces onto the main road which is handy for buses which run regularly up and down the coast. Some appartments over look the pool and beach, unfortunately our room was at the back of the hotel with a view over the restraunts roof. We went self catering and the small kitchen was adequate but no kettle or toaster. There was a laundry room but only one iron for the whole hotel. Unfortunately, the Playa de Muro area is beside the wetlands which are a breeding ground for mosquitos. We visited in October and the mozzies were horrendous. Had a problem with the airconditioning during the night with water leaking into light sockets. It was repaired next day and we were given vouchers for a meal in the all inclusive restraunt, the meal and choice was fantastic, if you can afford all incl, I would recommend it
