Iberostar Alcudia Park is an apartment-style beachfront hotel in Alcudia, a history-packed town on the northern shores of Majorca (one of the Spanish Balearic Islands). The hotel is directly connected to the beach of Platja de Muro via a wooden boardwalk. This sandy beach has Blue Flag status and is widely considered one of the island's best.
Just 200m from the resort centre, you'll also be within easy driving distance of Puerto de Alcudia (4.2km away), which is home to seafood restaurants, bars and a marina filled with traditional fishing boats and luxury yachts. From here, you can take a ferry to the Menorcan city of Ciutadella, where the medieval old town overlooks the sea. Or, if you're interested in history, you can explore the medieval walled old town of Alcudia, within driving distance of the hotel – walk down narrow cobbled streets home to Roman ruins and an ancient amphitheatre.
For a day trip, visit Palma de Mallorca. The island capital plays host to historical highlights including the Gothic cathedral, the 14th-century Bellver Castle, renowned for its hilltop view, and the Royal Palace of Almudaina, the former residence of the Spanish royal family. Or how about a day at the Cuevas del Drach, underground caverns filled with stalactites and stalagmites.
Back at Iberostar Alcudia Park, the outdoor pool and separate kids' paddling area are surrounded by a sun terrace, with tropical greenery and palm trees. If you're looking to keep active during your holiday, the hotel has a pool table and table tennis, and arranges daily activities, including some in the pool.
While younger children are occupied in the playroom or at the international kids' club, you can relax in the spa. Here, you'll find an indoor pool, whirlpool and steam sauna. Iberostar Alcudia Park has a buffet restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner.
During the summer season, the hotel also opens a beach bar that serves a range of snacks and lighter meals during the day.
Plus, there's a mini market on site if you need to pick up any essentials for your stay.

Very, very, very good hotel! Pool a bit too small during busy, summer seasons.
I was 1 of 4 going to Iberostar Alcudia Park Majorca and I very much enjoyed it! When me, my wife and my 2 children (10 + 14) first walked into the averagely designed reception, our very first impression, we felt little underwhelmed. Then we got showed by a receptionist are room and the first keycard they used didn’t work, so they went back down to reception and got a second keycard and it also didn’t work. Then finally on the third keycard we were allowed to see our room. At first we didn’t think the hotel was exceeding the 4 star + that we expected. When we got settled we went down into the dinner restaurant/buffet and got greeted by fun and enthusiastic staff members at the entrance that the the kids (especially the youngest one ) liked. That lifted our moods up!! Then the food in the restaurant was very good, with a lot of options for everyone. Lovely food! Lovely meal! Then we decided to go in the pool and chill out beside the pool before evening entertainment. The pool is very busy (especially between late morning to evening time) the pool isn’t the biggest for everyone who wanted to go in and it was the only pool on the whole site! There are tiny slides beside the pool (definitely designed for toddlers and young children) but my 10 year old son still enjoyed them Entertainment is THE BEST BIT all shows are brilliant and loved every second!! You can just chill out on the seats (about 200) with a refreshing drink! The entertainment is normally between 1-1:30 hours long which gives you time to enjoy it! A big statement I would like to make is that the hotel definitely grows on you and gets better and better! We definitely enjoyed our stay but one thing is it is very busy and loads of young kids are charging around! Designed for family’s with young children ideally 2-9. Lovely stay and recommend it
Mostly a stressful holiday
Come to this hotel if you want a stressful holiday!! The main reason you holiday somewhere like this is because you want to relax by the pool. Not the case here as there are nowhere near enough sun beds for the amount of guests in the hotel. Every day, no matter how early you get up, there's always someone that has already 'reserved' a sun bed - even though it's against hotel policy, but they don't do anything about it. Your day is spent stressing about the fact you don't have somewhere to base yourself and relax by the pool. Not relaxing at all. You have to pay for sunbeds on the beach. I think forking out so much for staying here, I'd expect to get that for free. Not strictly the hotel's fault but we as a family we came back with so many mosquito bites all over us. I know the hotel can't control nature but my son came out of kids club after one hour, covered in so many bites! Surely the hotel could install mosquito traps or lamps in such vulnerable areas. The dining experience here is also stressful. Like a buffet style but with rude guests and it's somewhat chaotic. For a 'higher end' resort, I'd have expected the nigh time entertainment to be better. Instead they did poor rip offs of songs/films e.g. a fake Moana play. Quite cringey. The positives are that it's close to a sandy beach, but gets quite busy at weekends. The hotel is clean with constant cleaning machines going round the pool all day.
Lovely relaxing break
I’ve just got home after a relaxing 5 day break with my husband and our two children staying at the Alcudia park hotel. I booked this hotel due to being very impressed with the pictures of the rooftop facilities and the hotel being right on the beach. It is a little deceiving because you can’t just use these facilities unless you upgrade to ‘Star Prestige’ whilst you are. We decided to do this for our last couple of days, it only cost 30 euros but was very worth it as the roof top is incredible with the lovely jacuzzis, sun beds, roof top bar, and the views are just breath taking. It wasn’t at all busy up there, so super relaxing. Perhaps playing some music up there would make it perfect! We originally were booked as half board but decided to upgrade to all inclusive whilst there, as drinks are quite expensive otherwise, and there aren’t a great deal of places outside the hotel to have a drink. More choice if you head into Alcudia, but we spent a lot of time in the hotel and on the beach so decided it was beneficial to just upgrade to AL! It would have worked out cheaper if we had upgraded to Star Prestige straight away as this also gives you AL, but the staff didn’t explain this very well so it ended up costing us more but it’s not the end of the world. The hotel is immaculate. I can’t understand the reviews that say it is dirty, I didn’t see one bit of dirt anywhere. It smells absolutely beautiful too. Rooms are a good size and also very clean. When we checked in, chocolates were left on the bed for us and a bottle of cava in the fridge with macaroons, a lovely touch!! The beach is breathtakingly beautiful. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. You’d expect that beauty in the Maldives, so to see it in Majorca is quite incredible. Lovely to step out of the hotel and onto the beach. The water is clear, warm, and shallow so perfect for the kids to play in. Evening entertainment wasn’t great. This could have been due to coming to the end of the season. We went to Tenerife in the summer to a 3 star hotel and the entertainment was on another level, so a little disappointing for a 4 star but it certainly didn’t ruin our holiday. Horse riding on a Friday morning for kids was fab though! 6 euros for 15 minutes was great. My daughter loved it. There are photographers in the hotel, they took some lovely photos of our family, however they are very expensive which you don’t obviously discover until after so be prepared. Would definitely come again! A lovely hotel, beautiful location. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. If it wasn’t for the evening entertainment then I’d give it a 5 star! ❤️
