Cala Vinas, exclusively for guests 16+, is just outside Magaluf, on the south west coast of Majorca. It's steps away from Cala Vinas beach, a sheltered, sandy stretch and a pleasant spot for swimming and sunbathing. Cala Vinas is a popular resort due to its proximity to Magaluf, yet it remains peaceful and less crowded than its livelier neighbour.

The hotel's outdoor pool area and surrounding sun terrace, as well as the main restaurant, look out over Cala Vinas and the Bay of Palma. To keep you refreshed by the pool, the bar here serves drinks throughout the day until late and offers snacks as well as light bites in the afternoon and early evening. There's an indoor pool in the spa area, which also has a sauna and the option to book treatments for some extra pampering. Alternatively, if you're feeling more active, you could play a game on the tennis courts or work out in the gym. Over in Calvi, an 18-hole golf course, is a short drive from the hotel.

A buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, including a late breakfast until midday for those who like a lie-in. The hotel restaurant also has a section serving a la carte tapas. There are three bars, including a pool and a lobby bar. The staff organise daytime and evening entertainment, in addition to the other activities on offer, including boules, mini golf and table tennis. The resort offers a relaxing indoor pool with various types of massage jets, as well as an outdoor pool with stunning views.

The nearest beach is Cala Vinas, 200m from the hotel and can be accessed via steps. It's sheltered by low cliffs and has shallow waters. There's a small beach bar set back from the water's edge and palm trees for shade. The resort of Cala Vinas itself has a few small shops and local restaurants, as well as a supermarket for snacks and holiday essentials. However, it's particularly popular for its proximity to Magaluf, which is 2km away. Magaluf is mostly known for its nightlife, with world-famous DJs, beach parties, bars and nightclubs. In addition, there's also go-karting, a water park, evening shows and highly rated restaurants. Palma de Mallorca, Majorca's capital, is around a 30 minute drive from the hotel. Don’t miss the famous seafront cathedral, afterwards explore the Old Town's cobbled streets or head into the Arabic quarter, which is known for its art galleries and boutiques.
