Fabulous hotel. Food was excellent, hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere, staff friendly and helpful. I visited in the last week of Oct when the hotel and resort were very quiet. No crowds to fight your way through, beach sparsely populated and no competition for sun beds on the beach or at the hotel. Temperature in high 20s all week.

The flight down to Palma with EasyJet from Gatwick was 2hrs, absolutely fine. The transfer was a bit of a pain, being about 2 and half hours in all, but part of that comprised of waiting to other flights to arrive.... The hotel at first impression was great, clean spacious, shiny and fresh. The reception staff were courteous and direct. The room we were allocated was splendid, lovely big bed, balcony facing a quiet street. It turns out this was one of the best as rumour has it that a pool facing room on the other side of the building tended to be a tad noisy at night. Food was good, you certainly wouldn't starve. I had lovely dinners, but my vegetarian other half said that she struggled a bit, but not enough to complain. The position of the hotel was not a problem. The beach was a ten minute stroll, and boy o boy what a lovely beach. I ran most mornings and it seriously brought a tear to my eye to run in such a place, you really felt alive. On the way down to the beach there are restaurants, a welstocked Lidl and a Burger King if that's your thing. Places to visit were both Alcudia old town and Polenca old town, fascinating Spanish areas. The former is easy to get to on the bus, £8.50 return for the two of us, bargain. I loved this hotel, it grew and grew on us and in the end we were sad to leave. My partner and I can do 5 star, but equally if a hotel caters for all your needs and is at fair price and ultimately you're happy who cares. Would we go back.....yes definitely!!!

Five days of Winter sun

We took this short break in the half term holiday as I work in a school. But because of that it was a real treat to go to an adult only hotel! The hotel itself is modern and clean. Our room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom (complete with shampoos etc and robes) The TV had sufficient UK channels and free WiFi in the hotel. The food was fresh and tasty with lots of healthy options in the restaurant which was good as I'm following a diet! The wine was good and still bottled so not the usual watered down on tap stuff. The pool was really cold in October but you soon got used to it, and as the weather was between 26-29 degrees a welcome cool off! You never had to fight for sun beds or put towel out so a real change from other holidays ! Davide the entertainment guy worked really hard providing activities day and night. We read loads of reviews mentioning him so here's another! Entertainment was good in evenings with visiting singers and one night a karaoke night. We had the best time and met the most wonderful people. Happy to recommend!
