Playasol Mare Nostrum is a hotel in the heart of Playa d'en Bossa, one of the most famous resorts on Ibiza. While it caters to families with children, it's particularly popular with young adults and those who want to experience the island's famous nightlife. Playa d'en Bossa beach is a few steps away from the hotel, where you can relax on the sand and take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. You can swim at the hotel's outdoor swimming pool or sunbathe on the surrounding terrace. There's also a separate pool for children to splash about in. Playasol Mare Nostrum has its own tennis court, and there's a multi-sports court where you can play games. The hotel has a gym where you can work out. For children, there's a kids' club and a playground, as well as a playroom and games room. There's also a club for teenagers. The hotel has a buffet restaurant and three bars, including one by the pool for drinks in the sunshine. You'll be able to find a variety of other restaurants and bars in Playa d'en Bossa, such as those serving local dishes. A 3km drive away from the resort will take you to the capital of the island, Ibiza Town, where you can stroll along the harbour. You can also explore the fortified Old Town here, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel has a buffet restaurant that's open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves Mediterranean cuisine. There's a pool bar where you can get soft and alcoholic drinks throughout the day, and the lobby bar stays open into the evening. You can also get light lunches at the snack bar.

Ideal Location For Nightlife & Good Value For Money

The location of this hotel is ideal if you’re planning on making the most of the island’s nightlife. It is within walking distance of the Playa D’en Bossa strip, Hï & Ushuaia and a short taxi journey from most of the island’s notorious clubs such as Amnesia, Pacha, DC-10, etc. The hotel is good value for money. Yes, it’s not the most modern of hotels and the facilities are of a basic standard but you can’t be too fussy when you’re not paying a lot. On arrival we noticed mould in our air conditioning unit. Within minutes of phoning reception to notify them of the issue, the technicians were in our room and thoroughly cleaning it out. This issue was dealt with very professionally by the hotel staff and once it was cleaned there were no further issues.

First holiday abroad as a couple and it didn’t disappoint!

My stay at this hotel was in the last 5 days of it being open before it closed on 03/10/2022 for the season. The hotel reception and lobby area was very modern and clean along with the Aqua terrace upstairs from the pool. The restaurant is also well maintained and the staff always keep an eye on what foods are running low and make sure to top them up so that no one misses out! Breakfast had a wide range of foods from fruit, yoghurt and croissants to sausages and fried eggs that were cooked in front of you by the chefs. The pizzas at lunch and tea time were also freshly made by a chef in front of you and they were delicious! The rooms were however more dated with wooden furniture and designs. However, for the time me and my partner spent in the room this wasn’t a huge concern. The cleaners do a great job and fresh towels are always an option to request. One thing I would like to comment on is the fact that there was no hotel entertainment - both during the day and at night time. I am not sure if this is due to the fact as stated above that my stay was in the last 5 days but this is something I felt as though was missing from my stay. Having entertainment is a good way to interact with both the hotel staff and other guests. I was all inclusive at this hotel and it would’ve been a nice extra to have. The food and drinks were definitely value for money though .. with generous measures of alcohol The hotel is in very easy reach of the beach, supermarkets and a short 10/15 minute walk into the centre of Playa D’en Bossa where the pubs and clubs are. Great atmosphere if that is something you enjoy. This hotel is also very near the airport so easy to get a taxi for around 15 euros. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay and I would like to visit Playa D’en Bossa again in the future Thank you team Vibra Mare Nostrum!

Amazing holiday

The hotel is very nice to look at and the interior is amazing. The staff so helpful in every way. Food and drinks both top tier! Would definitely recommend coming here wether it’s to party or just relax!
