Ibiza Playa is a hotel steps from the beach in Ibiza City. It backs onto a palm tree-lined promenade where you can walk to the nearby bars and restaurants. You'll also be within walking distance of the centre of town, so you'll never be far from the vibrant and bustling nightlife. Ibiza Playa has two restaurants that are open throughout the day and a bar that's open until late. Entertainment is provided by the hotel once per week. If you're looking to stay active, you can go for a workout at the gym. If you fancy a leisurely round of golf instead, there's a golf course within driving distance. Within walking distance of the hotel you'll find the historic Old Town, with its fortified hilltop and cobbled lanes that offer views looking out over the port to the Mediterranean Sea. The sandy shores of the popular Cala Comte Beach are within driving distance, and here you can swim in the clear waters, explore the sand dunes or enjoy a sunset. If you fancy a day trip, you can head west to view Es Vedra, a rocky island that emerges sharply from the sea and features in many local myths and legends.

Ibiza Playa is just 10m away from the popular Figueretas beach and 1.5km from the centre of town. In the streets surrounding the hotel you'll find many shops and tapas bars, as well as a range of restaurants serving local and international cuisine. The most famous resort in Ibiza, Playa d'en Bossa, is 1.5km from the hotel and offers a long stretch of sandy beach and popular bars and nightclubs. If you hire a car you can travel 12km to Roca Llisa, the nearest golf course or 25km to Cala Comte Beach. You could also visit Sol d'en Serra, a secluded pebbly cove surrounded by tall cliffs.

The buffet restaurant at Ibiza Playa offers a continental breakfast and is also open for dinner. You can get breakfast and lunch from the a la carte restaurant or get food throughout the day from the bar. The port area of Ibiza City has a number of restaurants serving tapas and locally caught seafood.

If you're looking to have fun, the hotel has table tennis and a pool table. There's also a water park a short drive away.

Everything we wanted. Had an amazing view out from the balcony, great location. The hotel was very clean. Also on the last day we were able to use the shower facilities in the hotel before the flight home (after a day on the beach). Would stay here again for a short break away.

My wife accompanied me to a chess tournament in Ibiza. The staff at the hotel , specially Ms. Fina, were amazingly pleasant, helpful, and friendly. We only stayed 2 nights. The restaurant just below the hotel (of the same group) was also a very nice experience. We had the beach right in front of us. Now feeling sad to leave, at the airport. Our next trip to Ibiza, will definitely stay here again! Thank-you to all the hotel staff!

Lovely hotel in a great location

Just a quick 2 day trip for this stay. Hotel is close to the airport with a bus just a couple of euros which drops you a short walk from the door. The hotel is newly refurbed to a simple but stylish decor. Room was immaculately clean. Reception / check in is very simple and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is very dated and extremely simple. Based on the cost per night and if I were being very picky I’d say it could be made more appealing. Although there are several food options available and all very nice to actually eat, it just looked a little unappealing at first glances and a bit ‘sad’ in comparison to the other places I’ve stayed for the same type of price. A few dirty cups, plastic glasses that type of thing.. Location is great although really steep and hilly with steep steps a plenty!! The hotel has no elevators either so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Close to the Old Town, bay and there’s a boat service to Formentera which I would highly recommend. The water is crystal clear! The bus was 4euros return from the port to the beach and the ferry was around 30euro (we booked online although you may get this cheaper at the port side). All in all a very nice stay. I’d come back for a very short trip but if I wanted a week or more I think I’d aim for something a little easier on legs!
