Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Fuerteventura in December?
Fuerteventura’s the closest of the Canary Islands to Africa, and sits just over 100km off its west coast. This setting means you'll get warm weather and hardly any rain in December, even though it’s winter.
Climatic influences
Fuerteventura gets its lovely weather from being so close to the Sahara Desert, although things are less extreme because of the north easterly winds and the Canary Current, which will keep you cool in December. Lanzarote sits to the north, which shelters Fuerteventura from wind and rain, meaning it’s drier than other Canaries, and has more consistent weather.
Averages
The average high temperature during December is 22ºC, which is perfectly warm enough to relax on the beach. You should pack some warmer clothes for the evenings as things can get a bit chilly, with temperatures usually cooling to 14ºC. The average sea temperature’s 20ºC, while humidity’s low and ranges from the just under 60% to just under 90%. Even though it’s winter, average rainfall’s just 26mm over three rainy days.
Daylight
During December you can expect ten hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be moderate so don't forget to bring your sun cream. Sunset’s around 6pm.
