    Barcelona weather July

What’s the weather like in Barcelona in July?

Barcelona weather in July is very warm and sunny, making it a great time to visit if you want to enjoy a beautiful climate on holiday. You can look forward to long days filled with high temperatures, bright sunshine and not much chance of rain.

    Geographical influences

Located on Spain’s northeast coast, Barcelona enjoys a Mediterranean climate that’s very hot, sunny and dry in the summer. Cooling breezes from the Atlantic help control humidity levels from rising too high and often lower temperatures during the day. The sea is very mild in the summer, which is perfect for a swim while you’re enjoying the local beaches.

The average temperature is a pleasant 27°C and the weather doesn’t fluctuate much throughout the season, which means you’re guaranteed a warm climate all summer. At night, it cools to around 19°C, which is still very mild and perfect for a stroll through the city in the evening. The Mediterranean sun stays out for at least 11 hours per day, but this can often rise to up to 14 hours. It doesn’t rain much in the summer, with just four rainy days spread over the month. Humidity levels are moderate to high and range from 56% up to 91%.
