Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands are just off the east coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. The islands are beautiful and include the famous party island of Ibiza to the historically rich towns of Majorca. All of the Balearic Islands have a very similar Mediterranean climate with slight differences in temperatures and rainfall.

The best time to visit the Balearic Islands is in the summer when there’s lots of sunshine and clear blue skies from June to September. The average temperature is around 32°C, which is very warm and ideal for relaxing on the beach.

Temperatures cool slightly in autumn before reaching an average temperature of 16°C in December. Winter is the best time to go to the Balearic Islands if you prefer a quiet getaway in low season. The climate is mild with around 45mm of rainfall per month.

If you love swimming, you can enjoy the mild waters of the Mediterranean Sea. They’re quite cold in the winter, which isn’t great for swimming but begin to warm up in April with an average high of 16°C.
