What’s the weather like in Marrakech in May?
Marrakech is in Morocco, close to the Sahara Desert which means it has hot and dry weather. If you’re going in May, you’ll have plenty of high temperatures and sunshine. It’s the last month before things get really scorching in the summer, so it’s a great time for you to visit. The city does get a bit of rain because it’s in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, although there is not much in May.
The average high in Marrakech is 29ºC in May, which drops to a cool 14ºC at night. Shorts and t-shirts will be fine for the day, but you should bring some warmer clothes for the evenings.
