Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Varadero in May?
Located on a beautiful strip of land that spreads out from Cuba’s north coast, Varadero is a spectacular destination for a relaxing beach break. It has a subtropical climate which brings hot weather to the resort all year round, along with a wet season that lasts from May to October. There’s lots of rain forecast in May, but downpours are usually short and clear quickly. You can still expect nine hours of sunshine each day at this time, so Varadero is great for a beach holiday in May, as long as you don’t mind a little wet weather.Averages
In May the average temperature in Varadero is 25ºC, reaching highs of 30ºC in the peak of the afternoon. With this heat and the high UV level, you’ll need to use plenty of sun cream and be careful in the midday sunshine. Temperatures cool to 20ºC in the evenings, so it’s still very warm yet not uncomfortably hot, though you’ll be grateful for air conditioning in your hotel room. Around 170mm of rain’s expected over the course of nine days, while the sea temperature’s a lovely 27ºC in May, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
