The Marker hotel is just better.

The marker hotel in San Francisco is a quiet refuge in the storm of the city. It’s calm and quiet and beautiful and clean! My room was clean and cozy and the bed was so comfortable. The lobby is amazing with two beautiful fireplaces and a gorgeous staircase. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and kind. This will be my go to hotel from now on in San Francisco.

Shocked Situation!

We decides to go to the marker because we found an “amazing” offer of 120$ a night for 3 nights in their suite. As soon as we arrived we saw at least 4-5 staff members at the hotel and they happily said they do not offer assistance with our bags (we had 6 bags). After we went in the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. It looked Old, abandoned, dirty and sincerely can say it looked disgusting. My wife was telling me we should leave and not stay here. I convinced her it was only 3 nights and we had a nice big room. When we went up to our room with no help of anyone and our 6 bags, we found that someone was sleeping in the room they had given us, He was laying in the bed with the tv on and the room just smelled utterly disgusting. (This has never happened to me in my 15 years of traveling) We ran right down to the lobby and immediately told them we where not going to stay here. We called Bookings.con and told them what happened l. They where shocked of the situation and made my cancelation and refund immediately. They do not meet any hotel standards and wouldn’t and i can just imagine how they clean, stuff in there. Do not book here by any means disregard the cheap prices.

Great value. Great location, friendly staff. Loved the pet policy and lots of dogs were in hotel. Thought the decor was fabulous. Absolutely loved water bottle we were given. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone!
