Never experienced such bad service
This is really unbelievable experience started with no parking at the hotel as parking is full. I tried to explain to the valet team that I am checking in to the hotel but they told me to park in another Hilton few blocks away with my family and 2 kids along with luggage. Really never experienced anything like this before in any reputable hotel The receptionist didn’t even absorb my frustration and even with HH membership didn’t try to compensate my frustration at all. WIFI is not even connecting in the room. No privacy signs in my room. Really it looks like we will not continue our 2 nights in this hotel. The area is crowded and I wish if I booked another hotel.
Super Friendly Staff and Quick Elevators!
Check-in staff was super friendly. I appreciated that they (at least seemed to) carried on a casual, unscripted conversation. So often, i get the feeling that they are reciting a script that is meant to upsell or gloss over issues. Even the cleaning staff was warm and friendly. My room was super clean (other than the outside of windows... can't blame them. Must be impossible to keep the moisture minerals cleaned off.) Bed was comfy and an assortment of pillow types. I stayed on quite a high floor, and the elevators were always super quick. People have complained about the breakfast on site; yes, it is pricey. However, it was a beautiful assortment of foods-- eggs, bacon, yogurts, muffins and bagels, gorgeous bowls of fresh fruit. In my experience, these were all replenished often. I had a very good 2 night stay and would stay again.
Great Hotel in Downtown San Francisco
My family and I stayed at the Parc 55 during our roadtrip through California. We found the location of the hotel to be ideal -- right near the subway station, the Powell street cable car stop, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, and the service was outstanding. I especially appreciated the helpful concierge and how the hotel responded to text messages for requests (like requests for extra towels). The room was as quiet as can be expected in a city, and the valet parking was extremely efficient and convenient (well worth the cost). The only issues we had with the hotel were: 1) being told that the room would automatically be cleaned, but we later found out that we had to request room cleaning; and 2) the delivery of an extra blanket for our sofa bed, which took a bit longer than expected (but which was appropriately handled by the front desk). I had one other issue, but cannot blame the hotel for it. Rather, I believe the Hilton Honors app may be to blame, as I have had the issue at another Hilton hotel. Nevertheless, I will mention it here for the wary traveler. The app allowed me to choose my room and check-in via the app, which I did. However, at the hotel, I was given a different (less favorable) room. When I pointed out that this wasn't the room I selected via the app, the hotel was apologetic and upgraded me to suitable room. But, again, this has happened at another Hilton hotel to me, so I think this is a problem that Hilton should address. In any event, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parc 55 Hotel.
