We came in a lot earlier bf checkin and we were going to leave our bags while we explored, but Ree was kind enough to check us in early which is so helpful when traveling with my teenager son. The room was clean and roomy with great view. Honestly, having stayed at NY hotels in the past you can’t expect much. You are lucky if you have room to walk around and have a view in the shoe box rooms, so I was pleasantly surprised at how great a room we got and location wise you can’t beat midtown grand central…removed from time square tourism but close enough to walk.

Second Worst Hampton Ever

I must qualify. I am a Diamond Member and average 80 nights per year at Hilton properties so I know my way around. This place is a disaster. It is dark, dirty and dingy and in need of a major renovation. The lobby and room was tiny and claustrophobic. It is a 21 story hotel and one of two elevators was out all weekend when the hotel was booked. I asked for and did not receive housekeeping service. The molding in my room fell off. See photo. The tv was a tiny analog tv. I felt like I was watching the Flintstones on my 12 inch black and white tv in 1969. Avoid this place at all I mean all costs!

The staff was wonderful!! Especially Ajai, she was so nice! Very friendly, professional and gave great customer service! The location was really, really good, right by the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Station. Within easy walking distance to Rockefeller Center, the MOMA, theatre district and more. A great stay!
