Location and staff are the reason I only stay here!

Such a great hotel Staff is warm and friendly. Location couldn’t be better. LES is our favorite area in the city and this hotel is perfect for the price and value. You can’t find nicer employees! In addition, the hotel is very clean! Great restaurants nearby as well as shopping.

Location and view make up for other shortcomings

The good: very well located on the LES--close to Katz's Deli, Russ and Daughters, and several A+ restaurants like Wayla (which is a short walk away and deserving of the hype). The staff were friendly and, upon request, put us in a room with a lovely view of the skyline toward the East River. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is spacious enough for moving around comfortably, though nobody expects a huge hotel room in NYC. The not great: The showerhead in our room was comically awful; its blast was so powerful that it cause the holder to move such that the showerhead pointed upward, spraying water all over the walls and the ceiling--had to either hold the showerhead in hand or drench everything in the room. There's a coffeemaker hidden inside pull-out drawers, but there was only decaf and no cream or sugar. The front desk was no help in this regard, and it kinda sucked since coffee is surprisingly hard to find on Christmas Eve morning. We were three floors above the bar area, and the music was loud, which didn't bother us but could bother light sleepers. There's a rather pointless $28 "amenity fee" which I'm only now seeing on my credit card statement (hence this review); would've been nice to know, as I read in another review here, that $20 of that could go to the mini-bar. I'm sure the front desk people told me that and I didn't hear them through their mask, the glass partition between us, and my politeness in not constantly asking "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" Politeness, it seems, has its drawbacks.

Very kind team working for the hotel

I had a really good stay. From the front desk to house keeping, everyone was so friendly. Special shout out to Orlando in house keeping, his warm personality really made the stay a special one Highly recommend hotel indigo LES
