Best accommodation in Wallstreet downtown Manhattan

Because of the high level of customer service provided by Dio the manager at the time. We were more than pleased, grateful and extremely satisfied with Dio specifically. The hotel itself is what you can expect from a budget hotel in nyc, with the added bonus of double tree cookies, coffee and tea maker in room, subway SUPER CLOSE less than 50 feet, pharmacy in the corner, and toiletries.

Great location. Minutes walk away from several subway stations and not too busy. Walking distance from 9/11 Memorial, Statue of Liberty ferries, Battery Park and Wall Street. Nice hotel, helpful staff. Don't know what the fuss was about re the lifts to floors as we encountered no problems at all. Beds are so comfortable, best nights' sleep ever! Rooms lovely and clean. Air conditioning was a bit noisy but can be controlled via the wall panel. Would definitely return.

The hotel rooms are small (this is NYC) and the hotel has 44 floors, 3 elevators and the lobby is on the 2nd floor. There is valet parking there at a reasonable rate. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor at the street level. The rooms are clean the staff is friendly. Any encounters with a staff member was associated with a smile and a greeting. One staff member was Arilisy, she is a supervisor at the front desk and was so friendly and engaging. Arilisy made us feel welcome and she went out of her way to make sure we knew she appreciated us being there. What a wonderful person.
