You'll be right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip when you stay at Vdara. This 57-storey hotel towers over the city where sweeping views can be experienced from its top floors. Whether you want to watch some shows or see the sights, you'll be within walking distance to most of the attractions here. The hotel caters mainly to adults, but children are welcome when accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. There'll also be the opportunity to relax during your stay, both in Vdara's spa, or by its pool area. The hotel has a third-floor rooftop swimming pool where you can reserve luxury cabanas during the warmer months. All this can be enjoyed with made-to-order cocktails from the rooftop bar. Elsewhere on the complex, there's a patio and lounge where you can get meals and casual drinks during the day, and cocktails until late into the night. You can also choose to dine in one of the hotel's other restaurants for à la carte meals with a classic American theme. Contemporary and colourful throughout, Vdara's interiors offer a luxury and roomy living experience. Water features, atmospheric lighting and bold patterning can be seen in its public areas, while a more neutral colour palette with dark undertones and large windows give its rooms and suites a modern feel.

As soon as you leave the hotel complex, you'll be surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. The Shops at Crystals shopping mall is based directly opposite the hotel, where you can pick up designer goods from some of the upscale brands on offer. Also within walking distance is one of the city's most iconic attractions, the Fountains of Bellagio, and a little further on is the High Roller Ferris wheel. If you'd like to get out of the city for the day, you can take day trips to Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon National Park, which can both be reached in less than an hour.

Vdara has a number of different options for meals. There's a casual café offering breakfast options, as well as snacks, lunches and dinners throughout the day. There's a pool and lounge bar for those who prefer to dine outside without having to leave the sun.

If you're hoping to stay active during your break, the hotel has a gym. There's also a nightclub onsite if you're looking to party into the small hours.

The rooms offer a spacious stay and views of the surrounding city can be seen from their sizeable windows. Each room has a TV and air conditioning.

We stayed at Vdara for 10 days in January 2023. Had initially booked Bellagio but decided that having kitchen facilities, plus washer/dryer would be much handier. SO happy that we changed. The location is great, and was nice to come back to a non smoking hotel after going through some smoky casinos! The location is great with short walks to Aria, Bellagio and also Cosmopolitan. Starbucks and shop downstairs was all we needed. Great sized room, views of the fountains. Kitchen items provided when asked. No complaints at all and would definitely go back if/when we return to Vegas.

Do NOT stay at the Vdara!!!

Do NOT trust Prestigia when it comes to your hotel recommendation. Prestigia said the Vdara hotel in Vegas had free parking. The Vdara did NOT have free parking and valet parking cost $40/day. Prestigia said the pool at the Vdara was open. The pool was NOT open during our entire week long stay. Prestigia said there were smoke free rooms. The room I had in the Vdara smelled of Cigar smoke so I called the front desk at 6 am on our second day there and somehow, the Vdara fixed it. The Prestigia website is NOT to be trusted. The Vdara is NOT one of the finer hotels I have stayed at in Vegas but their Massage was 10/10!!! The Vdara check in was horrible (30+ minutes), the Vdara's lobby restaurant was NASTY. Bland food that was heavily overpriced. The Vdara room had a leaky shower, a laptop in your room (to order room service) but mine needed a PIN and they couldn't fix it the whole week I was there. I also found a used condom wrapper in the bedside dresser drawer. Finally, on top on not getting my room cleaned twice during my week stay, the Vdara room keys/elevator keys repeatedly failed. I have stayed at more than a dozen hotels on the Vegas strip (Bellagio, Caesar's, Luxor, Venetian, MGM, Treasure Island and the Wynn). I will never return to the Vdara.

Good hotel

We spent a 3 night stay here for our first visit to Vegas. The check in was great, everyone is really friendly. Rooms were very spacious clean & modern. We had breakfast in the hotel each morning which you couldn’t fault & the staff were attentive. We found it difficult to find our way back to the hotel each time, it doesn’t lend itself to a direct route. There was a connecting walk way from the Belagio that we found at one point but the following day was out of use. My only complaint was that our room wasn’t cleaned at all in the time we stayed there. We were with friends & they had their room cleaned, should’ve mentioned it at the time so our fault I guess.
