The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas is a high-rise hotel at the centre of The Strip, the main street that runs through the most popular part of Las Vegas. Surrounded by the Mojave Desert, with its giant saguaro cacti, the glitzy resort of Las Vegas is a neon-lit town where you can dance, drink and play all night. The hotel, which was built in 2010, has opulent modern dÈcor throughout, including an enormous, glittering chandelier in the three-tiered cocktail bar. The hotel offers live shows in the evening, and has its own nightclub with well-known guest DJs. There are numerous bars and world-class restaurants where you can get a meal or a snack, ranging from a casual burger bar to a smart supper club where you can enjoy a late-night meal. Like many Vegas hotels, it's adult-focused, but children are welcome when accompanied by an adult aged 21yrs+. A stroll down The Strip offers you the chance to ride in a gondola around a Venice-style canal, dine in a revolving restaurant more than 100 storeys high, scare yourself on some of the highest altitude thrill rides in the country, or try your hand at vintage pinball machines and video games in the Pinball Hall of Fame.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is right in the heart of The Strip, with the major attractions within walking distance. You could explore the Fashion Show Mall with more than 250 shops and eight department stores, or window shop at the luxury boutiques and designer stores in the Crystal Mall. If you're happy to venture a little further, you'll find vintage clothing and antiques in the Fremont Street area. For a change of scenery, you could take a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Here you can admire the views on a helicopter ride or step on to the clear glass Skywalk to get a bird's eye view.
Restaurant choices at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas include almost every type of cuisine, from traditional American choices of burgers or steaks, to modern Japanese. Indulge at Wicked Spoon, considered one of the most creative buffets in Las Vegas, or try one of chef David Chang's noodle dishes at the world-famous Momofuku.
You can play a game of tennis, relax in one of the three pools or enjoy a massage. There's also a gym and a spa.
The rooms at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which were refurbished in 2018, have either king or queen-sized beds and include a minibar and Wi-Fi.

Amazing, as always!
This is our fourth time staying at the Cosmo, as we try to celebrate our anniversary in Las Vegas every year (we eloped in Vegas eons ago) and this has become our favorite hotel, by far. Every staff member we meet is friendly and professional. The gaming rooms are well laid out, with plenty of choices for everyone’s preferences. We checked in late-ish (midnight), and our receptionist, Tanya, was kind and patient with us. She called a supervisor to upgrade our room to a wrap-around terrace suite. It was on the lowest floor we have stayed on yet (the 28th), but wow! What a room. It’s a 1000+ foot suite with one full sized guest bathroom and a huge master bathroom; larger (and way nicer) than the 2-bedroom apartments we rented in our younger days. Absolutely beautiful and pristine. And very clean. We had a couple issues not getting maid service the year before, and read reviews from people with similar issues, but it wasn’t a problem this year. Every morning that we left our room, our house keeper was cleaning a room in our hall; she stopped us to ask when a good time would be for her to clean our room. We had just slept the first night, so our room didn’t need cleaning, but she insisted on getting us clean towels and asked if there was anything else she could get us; shampoo, etc. She was so friendly and seemed to sincerely want to make sure our stay was comfortable. The name on the tip envelope said Mercy, so I’m assuming that’s her name (I should have asked!). She did a fantastic job cleaning our room the next day at our requested noon time frame. She’s definitely an asset to The Cosmo, and I hope they appreciate her! Being on the 28th floor, we were able to hear the partying on the streets and the car noise when we were out on the balcony. Fortunately, the sound-proofing in the room is good enough that it wasn’t an issue when we were trying to sleep. Note: If you haven’t ever stayed at the Cosmo, definitely request a balcony room with a view of the Bellagio fountain. It is SOOO nice to sit out in the warmth and just relax after the craziness that Vegas can sometimes be. Another note: One of our favorite things to do in Vegas is to play side-by-side slots. Many of the hotels have gone to mostly tower slots, with 4 or more slot machines in a square or circle, making it difficult to find any slot machines next to each other where we can watch each other play and celebrate the wins. The Cosmo still has a lot of options for side-by-side play, which we really appreciate. So, thank you Cosmo. Please consider keeping that layout for us older folks that enjoy gaming next to each other!
Room location matters
We booked a one bedroom suite for a Sunday evening and were upgraded (for a fee) to a wraparound balcony suite on the 16th floor of the Chelsea Tower. Nice, right? Well at 12:30am we discovered that the room was directly across from the outdoor nightclub. The level of bass jolted us awake (not a positive when you have to be at work the next morning). After waiting on hold with the front desk for 5 minutes, we were told that the music would go on until 4am and there were no other rooms but the hotel would generously refund the upgrade fee. It’s completely ridiculous that the hotel would book anyone in this room without confirming that they like blasting dance music in the middle of the night. We will never stay here again.
Awesome Place to Stay
The stay at the Cosmopolitan was very good. The Cosmopolitan itself is one beautiful hotel with tons of things to do inside good food, good drunks, and entertainment. We stayed on the Chelsea Side on the 60th floor. We had the perfect view of the strip and great view to the water show at the Bellagio.
