Very decent place to stay for disney visit, nice pool

WA has great pools with additional access to the hotel next to it, both pools are great. Hotel has early access to Disney, for someone this might be a good option. Room view is also nice, house keeping is great and paying attention to details. The only thing is some small details, breakfast is just so-so.

Fabulous stay at The Waldorf Astoria!

We had a fabulous 9 night stay here in a twin queen room with our daughter. The hotel is beautiful and although the bedrooms are dated, they didn’t disappoint, the beds are so comfy. The only thing I would say is, there should be some more wardrobe space, with only a small single wardrobe provided for 3/4 guests. Plenty of drawers though, and lots of usb charging points. We were on the 14th ‘Hilton Honors’ floor with a firework view and it was fantastic! Lifts were always instant. Great air conditioning controlled in the room, good sized fridge, tea/coffee making facilities which were replenished daily, as were the soaps etc in the bathroom, which were all decent quality. Rooms were cleaned daily and absolutely spotless, plus an additional visit each evening to replenish towels etc. The bathroom was a good size, with a separate rainfall shower and a decent sized bath, always plenty of hot water, plus a large vanity unit. The pool was great, with great poolside service throughout the day. The hot tub was lovely and hot, so relaxing. The food throughout the hotel was good quality and fresh. We had room service a number of times and although a bit pricey, was very well presented. We particularly liked the breakfast bar which popped up each morning serving fresh muffins, sweet and savoury pastries, I think we tried them all! Plus fresh coffee & tea to take away, which was great on our way to the parks. The free coach transfer to the Disney parks was excellent, usually half-hourly, never overly full, always on time and much nicer than the overcrowded Disney buses provided at the Disney hotels! We have stayed at the Signia by Hilton Hotel ‘attached’ previously which has a more contemporary feel, however, we were upgraded this time, thanks to Virgin Holidays, due to some works taking place in their lobby, and we weren’t disappointed at all. We’d highly recommend either of these hotels, superb!

Fabulous holiday

We have had a fabulous week at the Waldorf Astoria. Lovely room with Disney view. Breakfast in Oscars was great. Special shout out to Jamel and Daina who were very efficient, friendly and helpful.Reception staff were also very welcoming. Bull and Bear was superb. Pool bar also good. We had dinner in the Harvest Bistro and La Luce at Signia which were also good. Negatives were poor bus service to Disney Springs and issues when moving between Signia and Waldorf. Wifi didn't work for us in the Signia nor did entry and exit to self parking garage. On previous visits we have used bar at Signia but that and their reception is closed for refurbishment which was disappointing. Still given top score to Waldorf as we have had such an amazing time.
