Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa by Sky
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa by Sky is a family-oriented hotel in Orlando, world-famous for its theme parks. Many of Orlando's theme parks and water slides are within a short drive of the hotel. The hotel is also within driving distance of the Mall at Millennia, a shopping mall filled with designer boutiques and high-street stores that's considered one of Orlando's best shopping centres. The hotel is a day trip to Cocoa Beach, a sandy stretch bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, which is a popular choice for families due to its calm waters for swimming. Although a family-friendly hotel, at least one guest per room must be aged 21yrs+. The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, one of which has a miniature pirate ship in the centre for kids to play on. The pools are surrounded by a relaxation area where you can soak up the Florida sun. Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa by Sky has a gym in which you can maintain your fitness regime and a spa where you can go to relax and unwind. The hotel has two bars, one of which is beside the pool area. All of the apartment-style rooms come with a kitchen area that allows you to prepare and cook snacks at your own convenience.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa is within driving distance of all of the main Orlando theme parks and a day trip from Cocoa Beach. There are a number of options for a family-friendly day out; you can rub shoulders with Disney characters at one of several Disney theme parks or ride white-knuckle roller coasters at theme parks more suited to teenagers and adults. There are also several water parks with slides and splash pools. If you're looking to go shopping, you can hunt for designer clothes at Orlando Premium Outlets, where you can also pick up souvenirs.
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa has an Irish pub, as well as a tiki hut bar, both of which serve food. You can also grab a pizza at the onsite Pizza Hut Express. If you're looking to eat out, you can enjoy classic American cuisine such as steak, lobster and hamburgers at one of the many restaurants in Orlando.
For children, the hotel offers a kids' club where they can make new friends and take part in activities and games. There is also a spa and a gym that's open 24 hours a day.
The rooms at the hotel are bright and colourful with modern furnishings. All come with satellite TV and air conditioning.

Memorable stay with customer-service oriented staff at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa
We checked in late on 1st January 2023 arriving from Canada. Front desk staff Jennifer B was very helpful, professional and attentive (first impression always counts). Being our first visit in Orlando, she provided us with great guidance, hints and recommendations. Jennifer even went the extra mile by ensuring that our apartment meets our expectations and she also helped us to find what to eat at that time. The resort is very dense and has all the necessary amenities, besides it is neat and not far from the major attractions of Disney, Seaworld and Universal studios. Resort staff was also helpful and always smiling when approached. The staff at the attractions counter were also helpful since we book our Seaworld attraction there. Overall it was a a very positive experience and we will definitely choose this resort when we will visit Orlando again. Thank you Jennifer B and all staff for making our stay memorable (Thomas family - from 01 January to 09 January 2023)

LBV Have Lost Their Most Valuable Asset
Third Visit to LBV Resort Village & Spa, previously stayed here in 2017 & 2019, during our first visit the main reason for coming back was Trish White. A manager turned lifelong friend. We stayed at LBV for 1 month, 5 days into our stay we noticed ants in the kitchen, on the 12th floor it wasn't something we expected, a day or so later we noticed them again. Reception was made aware where a specialist was called to deal with the issue. Bate was laid and later that day a whole load more come out to play but we managed to find that they was coming out from within the wall. Reception had offered us to move rooms which I got given a key to a different building.. and wow the room was very dated, burn marks on the carpet, it was like I walked into the 70s. I went to reception and said that the room was completely different to what we was in. Reception had give me 3 more keys to different apartments where they was all dated and worn out things were broke in each of the rooms, we couldn't imagine staying there for an hour let alone another 3 weeks. During this whole ordeal I was in contact with Trish, this was late at night at the weekend, Trish wasn't working the weekend, especially at that time of the night but Trish went way out of her way to contact LBV and between Trish & the shift manager they managed to show us 2 presidential suites. These were both top floors and the space they had was amazing. Reception had asked us to pick which one we liked which we did (firework view) and said we could stay there for the rest of the stay. The Reception staff & Trish done everything in their power to make our holiday perfect. Only issue we then had was our oven wasn't working properly, Trish went out of her way again when she was off shift and got us a brand new oven installed. Trish deserved a medal! LBV resort village & Spa have mixed reviews, they are all correct, the apartments really do go from one extreme to the other but LBV only manage most of them as alot are externally owned. Over the 3 trips, 2 & a half months in total we stayed the staff have been amazing and could never fault them, they work hard with the tools they have. Trish recently changed jobs which will leave a massive hole for LBV to fill. Over time I hope the whole resort gets back to its best as the location is ideal the staff are great just let down by some of the accommodation.
