Don’t Stay Here If You Like Coffee

The last two mornings at the Doubletree have been among the worst that I’ve ever traveled. Like many other people, I enjoy a decent cuppa coffee with breakfast. They don’t offer coffee with the inclusive breakfast here. If you want to buy a coffee, you have to pay $3.50 for a cup of Starbucks plain coffee. They told me I could drink coffee in my room. The coffee in my room is awful and they only have powdered creamer available. I would give my entire breakfast and a downgrade for a cup of coffee right now. You would think that $600 would get you more then a dismissive response to my request for coffee. But no, if you want a cup of coffee the price for a couple nights here is $603.50. Make sure you factor that in when you’re budgeting. A picture of your coffee selections is attached here.

Classy but Noisy

The hotel is located in what I would consider a more "rough" part of town. The area was pretty noisy in the evening, I heard all sorts of things from sirens to a band with a loud drum set. Most of the noise was gone by about midnight. But I also was placed next-door to what sounded like a group of kids partying all night and into the morning. You never know what you're going to get in a place like this, ask for a quiet room. The hotel itself is extremely nice, high quality customer service and amenities. There is a convenient restaurant located in the hotel which came in handy when I arrived later at night and didn't want to go out for food. I would definitely stay here again!

Two days before our Panama cruise.about 15 minutes walk from union station.as a Hilton gold we we given $36 discount towards breakfast.free in other Hilton hotels We were also given room upgrade which was great.overall very pleased with the service
