Cinnamon Lodge is set in a tranquil and picturesque 27 acre wood which is located next to a beautiful lake. Situated in the village of Habarana, within the heartland of the Cultural Triangle, the lodge is a convenient base from which to explore the ancient heritage sites of Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa and the Minneriya wildlife sanctuary - all within 1 hour's drive. Habarana is a 4 hour drive from Colombo. The 112 luxurious two-storey chalets with verandas and balconies complete a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool, and massage treatments are also on offer. The restaurant is an open space in tune with the architectural vision of blending in with nature, there is a selection of western and eastern dishes with a generous supply of particular ethnic dishes. It is ok where this is located. Rooms are very average, had lizards in the room that was very uncomfortable. But the food was amazing...lots of choices and the service at the restaurant was wonderful.
