Monarque Fuengirola Park is a modern hotel in the Torreblanca area of Fuengirola, a popular resort town on Spain's Costa del Sol. It's steps away from Las Gaviotas beach which forms part of the long stretch of sand that runs the length of the town. The hotel is surrounded by gardens that are dotted with palm trees. There's an indoor pool at Monarque Fuengirola Park that's heated during the winter season and has a retractable roof in the summer months. The outdoor pool has a sun deck and there's a separate pool where kids can have fun. If you fancy getting active, you can have a game of tennis on the hotel's court. And when it's time for a spot of relaxation you can head to the spa to unwind with a massage or relax in the sauna. During the summer the hotel hosts daily entertainment including singing, music and live shows. In Fuengirola there's a seafront amusement park by the port with games and activities for the whole family. You'll find pubs and cafÈs lining the length of Las Gaviotas beach were you can enjoy a drink or snack with a sea view. Fuengirola comes to life in the evening and there are several clubs along the promenade that are within walking distance of the hotel.
Fuengirola Park is 150m from Las Gaviotas beach. The centre of Fuengirola is within walking distance and it's 3km to the Miramar shopping centre where you'll find boutiques and local shops as well as plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel is a short drive from Colomares Castle, which sits at the southern edge of the beach and was built to honour the Spanish explorer Christopher Columbus. There's a water park in central Fuengirola, with rides to keep the whole family amused. To the south of town there's a sports complex where you can try your hand at go-karting or enjoy a round of golf.
Fuengirola Park has a buffet restaurant that offers international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are three bars at the hotel, including a lounge bar, pool bar and an evening cafÈ. On the nearby beachfront promenade there are restaurants serving a selection of cuisines, including fresh seafood and local specialities.
Fuengirola Park has a kids' club offering activities during the summer season. From Fuengirola harbour you can catch a boat to explore the coast or go fishing.
The rooms at Fuengirola Park have individually controlled air conditioning, central heating and a balcony or terrace. They come with satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Ok,hotel position not great.
Hotel ok not many English people but didn't matter walls in rooms very thin you hear everything either side of you TV usual 3 English channels 4-5 in evening cleaners excellent changed towels every day made up room cannot fault.Pool wasn't open February but you could use sunbeds free, breakfast was ok eggs bacon not english mushrooms beans etc plenty to eat bread cakes cereals etc. Sunbeds don't get unchained untill 10 am but in February doesn't matter reception staff very helpful train station 200-300 metres away to go to Malaga Torremolenos etc very reasonable approx €5.50 return each to go to Malaga. Few bars close proximity couple out front of hotel ok quite grim really probably owing to February same as bars out back of hotel cross the road to seafront a few there Sam's as front of hotel being February empty. The hotel is a 50 walk to the harbour where there are some great little bars/restaurants you can catch ferry to Belnemadena about €8.50 return each but more life up this end plenty of restaurants shops etc. Joel evening food ok for the number of people we only eat in there for some breakfasts and about 3-4 evening meals we preferred to eat out. There was a bus there that was free to anyone I think No 1 so every night we got that to the bus station well a stop where all the other buses stop and there you have lots of shops and if you walk down any side street towards the front you will come out near harbour depending which side street you take but loads of restaurants near the front. All in all hotel was ok but to far away from everything got to be nearer harbour.
Quiet relaxing holiday
The room was clean and ok for what we needed maybe a little dated. The bars etc seemed more modern and the service was good. Entertainment is what you would expect in Spain. Over all we felt comfortable and had a nice stay. The food was ok we always managed to find something we liked although sometimes it could have been a bit hotter. The salads and fruit were fresh and really good. As it was out of Season it was quiet - you could walk to the shops and bars and. We had the all inclusive option which was really good value.
Average hotel work great staff
The best thing about this hotel is the staff. It is in torra blanca in between Torremolinos and fuengirola. The hotel is mainly Spanish and the food l portrays this. If you are veggie you need to avoid this hotel as you will go very hungry. The entertainment is mainly aimed at a Spanish audience. The lifts are small and there are only two so you will have to wait if you are on a high floor. The outdoor pool was shut when we where there. Lack of umbrellas around the pool. The hotel is clean and tidy but the food let's it down
