Noise a problem

May 2022 | Companion66113389926

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is good and bad at the same time. On the front, so convenient. But noise at night is a big problem. Discos & partying clearly heard in the room until dawn. Pool area is good as is restaurant. Beds very basic. Aircon not brilliant. Shower is good, but bath needs a slip mat. Balcony ok size wise. Lifts are a bit temperamental, but mostly adequate. If you’re young & need to be in the action, then it is ideal. If you are 60+ like me, stay away from the party area.

On tour again !!!!

We booked this hotel as the reviews were not to bad & we were taking my 2 small great grandchildren to Spain for the first time.My daughter & I were surprised by how welcoming the staff were to the children. The food was very good & suitable for all ages, they even has ketchup!!There is a good sized childrens pool & a larger pool, with a life guard, wished they had a indoor pool. Across the road from the hotel is the sea front & harbour. But you can not use the beach as work is being carried out.As the hotel is at the minute it is not a 4 star,it is dated & could do with some upgrading but its very clean, welcoming & very friendly,Yes we are going to return in October.

Great hotel

Apr 2022 | Jillcatherall8282

We stayed here for 1 week and it was great. The rooms very clean, yes a little dated but not worn. There was some peeling paint on walls in the corridors but that shouldn’t ruin your holiday. Staff very friendly, food ok, a bit samie after a few mornings and nights. Ask for a room on the pool side of the hotel as it can be very noisy on the other side. Great location for bars and eating places too. The bus and train station 5 minutes walk away. We had air con in our room so I’m not sure why the other rooms didn’t from previous reviews. I would advise taking an extension as not many plug points for chargers etc. shame that there isnt anywhere to sit outside with a drink, only the inside bar, though a overall lovely stay.
