IBEROSTAR Selection Andalucía Playa is on the Costa de la Luz in the Spanish region of Andalucía. You can walk through the hotel's gardens to La Barrosa beach, or relax with a drink on one of the tree-lined terraces overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has four outdoor swimming pools, including a heated pool and a shallow pool for kids. The cities of Jerez and C·diz are within driving distance, or you can explore the smaller towns and sandy beaches along the coast.

Iberostar Andalucia Playa is 100m from La Barrosa beach. This sandy stretch, with its bar-lined promenade, runs for 8km down to the resort of Novo Sancti Petri. The town of Chiclana de la Frontera is 8km from the hotel and has shops, markets and plenty of restaurants. You can look out for locally produced wines and fresh seafood. It's 32km to C·diz, an ancient harbor city with narrow cobbled streets and red-roofed houses. You can take the catamaran from C·diz to El Puerto de Santa Maria, which has beaches, pine forests and a castle. You could also take a day trip to Jerez, famous for sherry and flamenco dancing.

Iberostar Andalucía Playa's buffet restaurant offers breakfast and dinner, and you can choose to enjoy your meals outside. One of the two A la carte restaurants serves lunch, while the second serves lunch and dinner. There's a lobby bar inside, as well as a pool bar that serves snacks alongside drinks.

You can stay active by working out in the gym. Clubs for younger and older children are available at the neighboring Royal Andalus Hotel.
