The Best Mojacar hotel is located in the picturesque village of Mojácar, it stands directly in front of the sea, and only a few minutes away from a golf course. 5 nights half board. Very friendly hotel. All staff cheerful and helpful. Large comfortable rooms and everywhere very clean. Lovely pool but sadly not open til 10.30 am. Food was good and varied on some days excellent. Only issue was that there was not much choice for vegetarians and that dinner was at 8.00 p.m.which is too late for us. On the whole though I would recommend without hesitation.

Do not book a room overlooking the pool if you like early nights as the evening ' entertainment ' takes place on a stage directly outside. Starts at 21:30 ends at 23:30 and consists of modern music with a very loud and enthusiastic host. Mainly Spanish visitors. Food nothing special and no heating for any buffet items Hot meat and fish available but cold plates meant didn't stay warm for long. Staff friendly and helpful. , Rooms and pool etc all kept clean. Room phone didn't work, no toilet brush, no tea / coffee making facilities, bedside light hanging off. Not much in immediate area except small supermarket Bus stops outside and regular good value buses, unless you can walk approx 1 mile to shops etc. Cockroach spotted in room . Area is lovely but would choose different hotel next time

We had a lovely last minute break, we have never been to this part of spain. Have to say we loved the fact it was not over run with English people. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was amazing particulary the fish as i do not eat meat. As for cleanliness it was cleaned non stop all day. The bar staff were fun and hard working and polite. I will definitely be back. Thankyou
