This wonderful hotel lies in the first sea line in Lloret de Mar at picturesque Costa Brava, less than 90 kilometres from Barcelona International Airport. The property is set in a fabulous still quiet location, neighbouring with town hall and right in the centre of the lively area with multiple restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment venues. The complex counts with double rooms, double sea view rooms and suites. Each of them features spacious and luminous surroundings complemented with comfortable furniture, offering a peaceful retreat to unwind after all day spent on the beach. The on-site dining options include buffet-style and a la carte restaurants and a snug bar-cafeteria. Visitors may have a cooling dip in the pool, enjoy a drink from the bar or tone up at the gym. The prettiest hotel in Lloret de Mar

Hotel Marsol was one of the nicest hotels we have ever been to! We were happy and satisfied with absolutely everything. :) Room was clean, beautiful and cozy! Our bed and bathroom were very nice and the room had a beautiful large window that could be opened. The food was something that was just amazing - I have been to many different hotels in the similar price range and I have never had such amazing dishes served in a buffet. Every night there was a range of different specialties, amazing fish dishes, lamb or even game meat. There were other dishes like tasty risottos, pasta, vegetarian dishes and many different amazing deserts. Every night a person could get a freshly grilled sea fish that is being prepared right in front of you, alongside already wide range of seafood and fish dishes. I loved everything and even though food isn’t the most important thing for me on a holiday, I honestly couldn’t wait to see what’s on the menu each day. :) Stuff is very friendly and kind, everyone. I would like to especially thank Aron who worked at the reception desk, it was a pleasure to meet him and exchange a few kind words whenever we passed the reception. Main hall and all other facilities were clean and nice as well. Bar in front of the hotel is beautiful and you can have a lovely drink there after the dinner or something for lunch. Hotel is placed in, for me, the most beautiful spot in Lloret de Mar. It is in the first row of hotels, right next to the walking area and the beach itself, and behind it spreads the beautiful small town of Lloret de Mar. It is amazing to be able to have a walk along the beach every night and to be so close to little shops in the town as well. The beach is beautiful as well, sandy with small little rocks scattered throughout the sand. The part of the beach right in front of Marsol is also my favorite and I think the prettiest part. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and by looking at other hotels in Lloret i am sure Marsol definitely among the prettiest! :) We will be back for sure, many times more!

Excellent location next to the beach! If you want a holiday of sunbathing, this is a great place to stay. Overall cleanliness is good, but a few spots of black mold in the shower and somewhat worn interior. We had a sea-view room, that came with a fridge and a safe included. The pool area is a bit lacking, as you can't have two beach chairs next to each other because of the pool taking up all of the area. We preferred the ocean. Several restaurants nearby, with a lot of different cuisines available. Shopping is also around the corner. A bit of a trip from Barcelona though, I would recommend that you go by bus if you're coming from Barcelona. The train only stops in the next city Blanes, and from there it's bus (or taxi) anyways. The bus is also a lot faster, 0h55 compared to at least 1h30 by train. Book in advance though, as it tends to be fully booked!

Great Location shame about facilities

The hotel is in a great location, ideal for site seeing the local area and a trip into Barcalona, however, if you want to sunbathe, the roof is sometimes left closed even in a heatwave, there is next to no room for actual sunbathing, and the sunbeds on the beach are €7 each, the Spa consists of a sauna, a massage room and a locker room, so I would not describe it as a spa. Breakfasts were great and overall the hotel was clean and modern, the veiws are only available from rooms with a balcony which are on the front, our room was at the side and was stuffy, but the aircon in the bedrooms was good. Would we return ? To Lloret de Mar, Yes to the Marsol, No
