Evenia Olympic Garden

Evenia Olympic Garden is in the beachfront resort of Lloret de Mar, on Spain's popular Costa Brava. The hotel has four outdoor swimming pools, along with two smaller pools for children. Two of the main pools also feature water slides, giving you a total of eleven slides to enjoy on lazy, poolside days. The hotel is designed in a traditional Spanish style, with a terracotta-colored exterior, arched doorways and floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedrooms are contemporary in design, painted in white with contrasting brightly colored décor. Each room comes with patio doors that lead out onto a balcony or sun terrace, where you can soak in the rays. You can also relax on the sun terrace in the palm-fringed gardens. At Evenia Olympic Garden, you can keep active with an aqua aerobics session. You could also wander to Lloret de Mar's sandy beach, which is within walking distance, where you'll find a selection of hotel-run water activities. You can dine at the hotel restaurant, or make the short walk to the local open-air restaurants, beach bars and seafood café's. If you fancy exploring, you can hire a car from the hotel or hop on the bus, since the nearest stop is steps away. You'll be able to visit the region's capital, Barcelona, which is known for its boutiques, shopping centres and international stores. You can also take a tour of the city's famous football club, wander the historic Old Town and walk along the popular waterfront promenade.

Evenia Olympic Resort - Olympic Garden is 800m from the center of Lloret de Mar, where you can dance until late at the nightclubs, karaoke spots and live music venues. You can pick up holiday essentials at the local supermarket, which is 100m from the hotel, or browse for gifts and souvenirs in the resort's shops. It's 1km to Lloret de Mar beach, with its stretch of sandy shoreline. You can make the short drive to Cala Llevado, which is known for its horseshoe cove. You'll be able to swim in the clear water, which also makes this spot particularly popular with snorkellers and divers. Further afield, you can take a day trip to Barcelona, famous for its tapas bars, food markets and Gothic architecture. You can wander through the cobbled streets and maze-like alleys, where you'll come across pavement café's, rooftop bars, street stalls, and plazas lined with shops.

At Evenia Olympic Resort - Olympic Garden, you can visit the buffet restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel offers a range of snacks, including sandwiches, cakes and burgers. It also provides tea and coffee during the day and serves local alcoholic drinks.

Children can attend the kids' club during the summer season, or enjoy the playroom and playground. They can also dance at the kids' disco.

Rooms at the hotel have individually controlled air conditioning and tiled floors. They also come with a fridge, Wi-Fi and a TV.

I visited the hotel last year with my son, and it was one of the best hotels I have ever been to, so this year returned with my partner, what a big let down. The hotel is lovely, great pools, staff great, drinks great, but food and entertainment waste of time and space. It was clear on the weekend, the hotel was busy and lots of Spanish guests, the food was exceptional, plenty choice, hot and pool bars open, so they clearly catered for the local visitors, but come Monday morning, and bang it was like a different hotel, the food was poor, Luke warm, we had to use microwave to warm our food up, pool cars closed, no entertainment all week either, I understand threw the week, there was may be 100 staying at best, but still we paid a lot of money, and so I expect the same rate of food, service and entertainment as the Spanish people paid for a weekend, it felt like they just said stuff them, they can have what there given and so what no entertainment, I should not have had to pay to go out for nights out, when I have paid enough for a week in a hotel that is suppose to provided that for us. Unfortunately this week has put me off, and now don’t see me returning, which is a shame as I know from my first visit how good a hotel this is, but last year they could not have been more then 100 people and was treated with up most respect and wonderful food, clearly not keen on making sure brits and holiday makers that paid a lot of money this year got the service they paid for

The first day was semi busy and it was great, pool bar open, great food and music around the pool. The next day (Monday) it was quieter, maybe 100 guests. There was no music, 1 inside bar open, reduced food options which was luke warm or cold. Pasta station was just left with no one making it for you live. It felt like when there was less people they didn’t care to make an effort. They had kids music on for an hour (the same baby shark and high school musical every night) and no shows etc, very depressing. The hotel has great potential when it’s busy and they seem to make an effort. But as soon as the capacity lowers they no longer care. The drinks and desserts were nice, the slides are great fun with good outdoor pools. Indoor pool was revolting, looked like an abandoned Chernobyl local swimming bath. The cleaners are nice but the bedding is not replaced, just neatened up which is a bit gross in a hot climate. Local town only 20 minute walk and lidl 2 minute walk away. Also COVID test centre is 5 minute walk The only thing free in the spa is the gym but you need gym clothes Do not go here in quiet times of year, you won’t have any happiness other than your own
