Pimar & Spa Hotel

Pimar Hotel is a beachfront hotel in the former fishing village of Blanes on the Costa Brava on mainland Spain. The hotel is steps from S'Abanell beach, a Blue Flag listed beach on the Mediterranean Sea. It's also within walking distance of the centre of Blanes, where you can find lively bars and restaurants that specialise in Spanish and international cuisine. The beach is backed by a promenade that is a popular place to walk along during the sunset. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a relaxation area where you can soak up the sunshine. There's also an integrated splash pool for children. If you want to keep fit while you're away you'll be able to make use of the hotel's gym. There are also water-based activities on offer, such as parasailing. If you're looking to relax, you can do so in the Turkish bath and sauna at the spa. Or, you could simply head down to the beach and relax in the cooling waters of the sea. Pimar Hotel has a snack bar that serves soft and alcoholic drinks, and light meals from the morning until late into the evening. The hotel also has a buffet restaurant that's open throughout the day.

Pi Mar is 50m from S'Abanell beach and 1km from the centre of Blanes, where you can stroll around a botanical garden with views of the Mediterranean coastline. If you fancy seeing the area by hiking, you can also walk along the seashore to Cami de Ronda, a secluded beach flanked by cliffs. A popular day trip option is the medieval city of Girona, which is a 35km drive from the hotel. Here, you can admire Gothic architecture and dine on gourmet cuisine at one of the city's famous restaurants, which offer seafood and Spanish specialities.

You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant at Pi Mar, which offers Mexican, Spanish and Italian food. If you want to eat out, you can enjoy Spanish dishes such as paella and tapas at one of the traditional restaurants in the centre of Blanes.

Three times per week, the hotel hosts family-friendly entertainment that usually includes live music and shows. A Turkish bath and sauna are also available.
