Terralta Aparthotel is an aparthotel in Benidorm on the east coast of mainland Spain. It's a short walk from the Old Town and Poniente beach. The hotel has a 24-hour reception for convenience, as well as Wi-Fi throughout, and a mini market so you can pick up any daily holiday essentials. There's a choice of bars at the hotel, as well as a restaurant where you can get all your meals. There's also a gym where you can keep up with your fitness routine while you're away and a sauna so you can unwind afterwards. You could also go for a swim in the indoor pool. Outside there's a garden and a pool area with an outdoor swimming pool for adults and a separate swimming pool for children. Benidorm is a favourite with visitors of all kinds because of its sandy beaches as well as its many places to shop, eat and drink. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in the area that kids will enjoy and a lively bar and club scene for big nights out on the town. There are also more traditional Spanish restaurants and bars away from the seafront for a quieter evening.
Poniente beach is 1km from the hotel, as is Benidorm's Old Town. The Old Town is full of historic architecture and traditional Spanish culture, with narrow cobbled streets, churches and the ruins of Benidorm castle. There are also lots of cafÈs and pubs to explore, as well as restaurants serving local cuisine. You can shop for gifts in the boutiques and buy fresh produce in the markets. You can also visit Playa de Levante beach for swimming, sunbathing, and a drink at one of the beachfront bars. If you're a golf fan, you can take a walk to Las Rejas Golf course 1.5km away.
The hotel has two bars to choose from and a buffet restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There's kids' entertainment five days a week, and a kids' club for ages 4-12 which includes activities such as painting and drawing.
Rooms at Terralta all have a balcony or terrace and centrally controlled air conditioning. Rooms also have a two hot plates, microwave and fridge freezer.

A good base for 1st timers to Benidorm!
We have recently returned from a 4 night break and really enjoyed our stay. We had an apartment based on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The apartments are basic but very spacious with comfortable beds and a decent, powerful shower. A good feature is that you can access the balcony from the bedroom, so if you have kids sleeping in the living area, you don't need to disturb them by using the patio doors. We were aware of the 'steep' hill people had mentioned previously on reviews and also the apartments being too far out, but we honestly had no problem, maybe a 15-20 minute walk to the front. Yes, the apartments are in a residential area, but we liked this as it was quiet, so getting a good night's sleep was not an issue! We also liked the fact that the complex only has 3 floors as we didn't fancy staying in a high-rise! So, in summary, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Benidorm, I would recommend staying here! This was our 1st time to Benidorm, and we found it to be in a good location to explore both the old and new towns and further afield. Thank you Terralta!
Great Value
We stopped here for a week from 12th February 2023. I had already done my research on the location of the hotel before I booked so spending £710.00 for self-catering for me, my wife and 8 year old son in the school holidays which was a bargain and this is why I have given it 5 star for value for money. Hotel and room was clean throughout. Our spacious 1 bedroom apartment was at the back of the hotel but if you looked at the side you could see the sea. It doesn't have an oven but it had a hob and microwave to prepare food, etc. The TV didn't work but I didn't report it as we had our son's iPad if we wanted to watch anything. Because we went in February, an indoor pool was a must and the pool did not disappoint. The outdoor pool was too cold to venture in but if you have booked this place for later in the year when the weather gets warmer you will have a great time in/around it. We eat twice at the hotel which was 31 euros for the three of us. We got their at 6:30pm and as beer, red or white wine was included we certainly got value for money. There wasn't too much choice but we thought it was to a decent standard for the price, etc, We went to the bar on an evening twice also and on the first night there was a resident DJ who was a good sport and played any tune you requested and then there was a lady singer on the Friday night who was very good. Bingo on both times but they could have done with having another game. There was a games room downstairs which my son took in great delight of skanking me for any change throughout the week. We thought all the staff, reception, restaurant, bar staff and cleaner were really friendly. Lets get onto the location as it seems to the big topic for his hotel. Yes, it is away from the english side of benidorm where you have your turns, cheap pubs etc so if that's what you want on your door step, this place is probably not the best for you before you book. But,in less than 6 mins down the hill from this hotel you have the bus stops where you can get either the number 2 or 3 to finestrat on the sea front, the carrefour, Aldi, McDonalds, KFC etc ( if you have kids ha ) or the other direction we did get the bus into the english end of the new town. It costs 1.60 euros to any destination. If you walk further down the hill you get to the beach which is lovely and has football nets if you have kids also, a little further down was the old down which has lots of food options/bars etc. Me and my wife love walking anyway, especially when your on holiday with the sun shining, exploring and taking in everything so if you are of a similar mind, you will have a great time. As we did eat out our favourite restaurants were Ian's ( we got lucky with a cancellation, New York 3 and Fresh. Lots of nice bars to find too but if you want to get a good view, go to the Planta 20 Lounge bar as well worth it! Enjoy.
To far out
Hi folks, just back from Terralta apartments with my wife after a weeks stay. The Room was big and specious, housekeepers in a couple of days fresh towels etc .A few down points now, after being out all day on arriving back at our room door we noticed it wasn't closed properly,we definitely locked it when going out. Well turns out housekeepers had been in and didn't lock our door..when I went to reception to as to why my room door was left unlocked I was told by a gentleman to come back in the morning to let them know. Wrong answer my friend..anyway we did to be told by a female on reception oh I will let housekeepers know of this..again wrong answer. As my wife and I both work in the hotel hospitality that isn't tell way to treat a guest with a very serious complaint...un -professional. Secondly it states on there website NO STAGS /HENS. Low and behold about 12 blokes on stag doo arrive ..first day on arrival drunk rowdy around pool area..to be fair hardly heard them the rest of there stay.. As previous TripAdvisor reviews on this place the DISTANCE no where near to get into Benidorm main town ( lively)just under 10 euro's a pop..thats one way in a taxi.us both liking the live entertainment you can imagine what we spent on taxis.and that wasn't counting taxis during the day... I know some nights they put on entertainment.but dear oh my..if that's what they call entertainment forget it. My opinion the staff could do more in learning good management skills and try smile more. On leaving nothing said to anyone how was your holiday did u enjoy your stay. That sums it up.will we go back again NO CHANCE. I await there response on this review. I can hear it now, we will pass your comments on and sorry about your misfortune...TOO LATE for all that Good luck folks on your visit here. Ronnie & Liz
