El Eurostars Pórtico Alicante está situado en la calle Rafael Altamira, en pleno centro de la ciudad y del casco histórico a tan solo unos pasos de la playa de El Postiguet.Desde el aeropuerto de Alicante-Elche, situado a 12 km, te llevará menos de 20 minutos llegar en coche a nuestro hotel a través de la N-332; en transporte público, algo menos de 30 minutos si coges el autobús C6.Desde la estación de tren, que se encuentra a 2 km del hotel, podrás llegar en coche al Eurostars Pórtico Alicante en unos 10 minutos. Si decides venir a pie, serán aproximadamente 15 minutos. La estación de autobuses se sitúa a poco más de 1 km del hotel (menos de 15 minutos a pie).

Really Good Hotel

Really a good place to stay and recommended, the staff is very friendly and attentive, is close to the center if you are willing to walk, pretty enjoyable. The Renfe station is close by so you can reach it walking. There is some noises from others room, I can come back again.

Don't recommend this Hotel. the only good thing It's location , in city town plaza, walking distance from all the attractions, big room ( 302) and the cold water with lemon and anise in the lobby. but U can find other hotels in the center which will be far better. The service is horrible. The stuff was not qualified, some of them were rude, and let u feel that U are bothering them . Patricia and Laura tried to help but like other in reception , were not effective, they lack basic knowledge and ask each other for advice and help, most of the time didn't have the right solution , or gave wrong information. I know Spanish and had to tell them what was written in the web, Sometimes in the reception no one spoke English or had poor English, that caused misunderstanding for instance a Taxi to the train station was invited twice, they didn't cancel the first taxi and the driver was waiting in vain. The 5 stars hotel is far from being deserve it, Tissue , cotton for cleaning the face ,cotton wad for cleaning, sawing kit espresso machine , instant coffee. all were missing. Poor internet in the room. Have to reconnect every time we came to the room , often were disconnected while working and again have to reconnect. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel because they charge 20 euros per person, and U can have much cheaper breakfast around,

We are currently staying at portico. It's minimalist but well appointed. Modern clean functional lovely. Rooms spotless. Breakfast wonderful. Staff amazing.Rooftop bar YES a MUST !!!!!! In the heart of old town. If you prefer boutique hotels rather than seaside fodder then this one is for you.
