Perfect for golf enthusiasts, this excellent resort surrounded by delightful gardens features two golf courses. The airport is only 5 km away while the city centre of Alicante is 3 km away. The beaches are at a distance of 7 km. If guests prefer, they can relax in the outdoor pool area where they are able to sunbathe or have a refreshing swim. For the active ones, they would like to exercise in the onsite gym. The property is perfect for business and leisure travellers alike since there are venues to host meetings, conferences and other private events. Dirty, disgusting, rooms are not cleaned

Spent one night here, arriving late and leaving early. Room was filthy, clearly not cleaned since previous guests and probably not before that. Thick dirt all over floor, piece of MEAT on floor, food left on bedside table, debris all over sofa, bottles and rubbish on patio, etc etc... Whole place was unclean. We had to check out early in the morning anyway and since the room was so disgusting we just wanted to get out, and as there was a queue at reception (just one staff member there) we did not waste time logging a complaint. Big mistake. I followed up with hotel / Expedia and they refused to take any action or compensation. Hotel also lied to Expedia to avoid us getting any money back, claiming the room was perfectly clean and denying our complaint despite ample photographic evidence. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you enjoy a filthy environment.

Complex nice but room not good

Stayed one night at El Plantio Golf resort as it was convenient for the airport. Check in was fine and although we were very early the resort managed to get us into our room before too long. We had a 2 bed ground floor apartment which was ok for 1 night - but really does need a make over The room itself felt damp and musty and the main bedroom had signs of this on the walls (looked like it had been treated) and maybe this is why we’re could get into our room so quickly (it hadn’t been used for a while?) the main bathroom shower needed a new shower hose - and the kitchen doesn’t have a kettle to make a hot drink We didn’t spend much time in there so one night was fine . The pool area was lovely- but they need to look at the loungers - again a bit warm and dirty. We had dinner breakfast in the restaurant and both were delicious absolutely not complaints about the food. The restaurant staff were also great very friendly and attentive again no complaints their. So apart from the room itself everything was lovely- but I strongly advise the complex to look at the ground floor room (403) as I think it needs to be looked at and aired before the next occupants visit as it definitely has a damp issue.

The apartments are Lovely, very clean with easy access to the pool, there were plenty of towels & beds comfortable. there was an issue with the air con but after ringing reception a technician was there very quickly and got it sorted he was very friendly & helpful
