See through bathroom
Just back from our stay here, amsterdam is wonderful, this hotel is about 15mns away by train. We paid €17 each for brekfast, which was basic enough. My main problem with this hotel though is the bathroom in the room, its glass, as in glass walls. I didnt feel comfortable at all using the loo as its completley see through. Its just not right. Is it not our basic right to pee/poop in privacy?
Dissatisfied
I will give the hotel 5 for cleanliness as it was spotless. The two stars are for the following! The staff at reception were so rude, no personality to them whatsoever! I’d have a better conversation with my toddler back home who is learning to talk! I had to ask on two separate occasions for an extra blanket for the bed which seemed to be a big deal and took a while to locate. The hotel was freezing! Extra blankets in the room are usually standard. The shower flooded the bathroom so I spent my first night mopping that up with towels and for future showers wrapping two towels around the door to catch the water. The bed and pillows weren’t great and both myself and my husband have lower back pain from it! Dreaded coming back each night we stayed as you just wanted a warm cozy room in the winter which sadly this hotel did not offer. I knew this hotel was off the beaten track but with Amsterdam’s brilliant infrastructure the metro will get into central Amsterdam in about 20 mins. This hotel is a no from me and we will not return
Terrible hotel
This is a terrible hotel I stayed a couple of nights and my room was in the basement at the front and I could hear everything outside also when showering the water would run outside the shower as no barrier and I left about 10 euros in change on the table in my room which disappeared when the cleaners finished the cleaning,do not waste your money and stay at this hotel
