A really nice and pleasant Hotel, with a great team of lovely staff, at the heart of Amsterdam city.

Professional, polite, friendly, caring, efficient members of staff of all levels. Pleasant, modern, fresh, nicely decorated, furnished and well equipped rooms and bathrooms. Very good functioning of all electromechanical, airconditioning installations and accessories. Extremely effective soundproofing. Very clean. Small size of building and limited number of rooms a significant PLUS. A common room for enjoying in comfort a drink or beverage, would be very welcome.

A quick getaway and a last minute booking, I wasn’t sure why to expect after reading the mixed reviews. We booked a superior room with a view and got exactly that. Our room on the 5th floor facing the busy and vibrant square of Rembrandtplien meant any noise was distant and muffled and the ear plugs supplied were not needed. Our room was immaculately clean, not in the least bit dated or tired, in fact looked like it was almost brand new and it was huge (especially for a European city). Great clean bathroom with bath and shower, robes and slippers provided and really was in the best location. The tram stop back to central station was right outside. Check in service was friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!!

Great Position, Average Hotel

This hotel is in Rembrandtplein. Great area for pubs, food and Amsterdam entertianment. 15 minute walk to Dam Square and 10 to Red Light District. Room was very average and service is somewhat to be desired. Ensure to ask if all fees are paid, as reception doesn't tell you and will lock you out of your room. Air conditioning is very hot and can't be adjusted well. Lights in the room are in very odd spots and no actual room lights. You have to turn on about 6 different switches to see at night. Technology in the room is less than average with staff not knowing how to make easier for guests. Great spot. Very average service.
