Great hotel, except pool/gym access are not included

The hotel looks amazing. It's stylish, decorations are fantastic and you feel like a moviestar when staying at the hotel. Fantastic designs, amazing bar, friendly staff. We had a standard room. This was very ok. Nice, new, stylish. Little remark - light in the bathroom mirror wasn't working as well as the headboard lights from the bed. It's a detail, but it just kills the perfection. But, for the price that we paid, the overall experience was very good. Breakfast was decent for the price. One thing we do not appreciate is the extra charge ( of 35 euro pp ) to be able to access the gym, pool and wellness. Either you have these facilities and they are accessible to all guests or you haven't, but charging extra for this is a big disappointment. For this money, we often go to the wellknown spa's in belgium that are far better and offer much more. We have decided that from now on, we will always inform on beforehand and won't ever pick hotels anymore where those services aren't included. We'd be more than happy to pay a little more for the room, but I can't be that facilities in the hotels come as an extra. Finally, there was also some noise during the night (couldn't find out what it was as our AC was turned off, but it sounded like an AC or as water from the heating was running trough pipes. That's also a bit annoying. We came to the hotel with great expectations. That's why we pay attention to these details. Nevertheless, the price was below our expectation, so all in all the price/quality ratio was pretty good. To end on a positive note: great bar, great cocktails. ( Oh well, sorry, one more remark - TUNE the piano! Someone was playing on it - she played well, but the piano is way out of tune)

Very friendly, attentive staff. very good breakfast with lot of choice. Incredible spa: large and above all very clean. I had the greatest massage ever for 1h (her name was Sarah! I totally recommend it).

This is a lovely property . Feels a bit like a W hotel, very "hip" and current in design. The rooms were comfortable. In all our hotel stays this trip - Harmon won as the most comfortable bed and pillows (and I am rather picky). The room was also very quiet. The staff are very helpful and always available. The spa area is really nice, the floors are little slick and there are no spa slippers/flip flops - that would be a nice addition. It is out of the tourist area, but many very nice restaurants near by and we were often the only tourists in any of them. It is a about a 25 min walk to the Grand Place, very nice areas to walk through. All in all it was frankly much nicer that I had expected. I would absolutely recommend it and stay again if I am in Brussels.
