Return visit to this beautiful hotel
We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Blue Waters Resort and Spa, our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Blue Waters was just as special and as beautiful as we remembered. The resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the food in the Palm and Cove restaurants was superb and so were the cocktails! We really appreciated the fast-track service on arrival, the taxi pick up and being greeted by Nicole with drinks and cold towels. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a 3 bedroom Cove Penthouse on an all-inclusive basis. The Penthouse was very spacious, well equipped and bright and modern with a huge balcony with breath-taking views of the ocean. It had the use of a shared pool which we very much enjoyed each afternoon. We loved the fact that you do not have to rush down in the morning to get a sun bed, this resort never feels busy and there are always plenty of free beds by the pool and beach. We very much enjoyed the service at Veronicas bar, and having our morning daily cocktails served to us on the beach. Nicole, was our concierge for the duration of our stay and she couldn’t have been more helpful. She took care of absolutely everything for us, booking restaurants, ensuring my youngest daughter who is a very fussy vegetarian was taken care of, and ensuring our fridge was restocked daily. She also made the booking of our boat trip before our arrival. The highlight of our holiday was a trip on the hotel’s newly acquired boat. We booked a 4 hour private charter and Owen, our Captain, was great company and made our day extremely memorable, nothing was too much trouble for him. The hotel packed us up a delicious lunch and put drinks on board. We swam at deserted beaches and enjoyed snorkelling at one of these beaches and on a lovely clear reef. What really makes this hotel so special are all the wonderful staff, far too many to mention individually. The staff in the restaurants get to know you by name, and know which drinks you will be ordering and you are always greeted with a smile. Kevin, the General Manager is always visible around the resort, chatting with guests and at times even showing people to their tables in the restaurants and helping move sun umbrellas! When we left Nicole and Kevin were there to see us off. We were all very sad to be leaving Blue Waters but we know that one day we will return to this incredible hotel.
Best hotel in Antigua
Hands down the best hotel in Antigua. Came in November 2021 with my partner; on our first night there was a delicious bbq dinner. The hotel interior stunning! Everything is well kept. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating, my partner and I particularly remember Wendy. The cove restaurant serves a wide selection of really good food, I went to the spa during my stay and the massage was great.I could go on and on about how they exceeded our expectations during the stay. Highly recommend 10/10!
A true slice of paradise
Our family of eleven - grandparents (us), our children and their spouses, and our grands - have just returned from a glorious week at Blue Waters. What an amazing week in paradise! Blue Waters exceeded all our hopes, from the airport reception with expedited entry, help with luggage, and taxi, to the warm welcome from GM Kevin and dedicated concierge Nicole to the outstanding accommodations of Rock Cottage - and that was just the first few hours! All the staff were warm and friendly; by the end of the week, they knew our drink orders before we’d placed them. Our cottage was maintained twice daily (no small feat in its private location and sprawling (in the best way) layout. Rock Cottage itself is amazing; each couple had their own beautiful suite with forgoes views in separate buildings. The grands had two bedrooms in which to bunk. There are two pools overlooking a small bay and beach and on into the sea. The views are almost 360. All the amenities of being a resort guest with the privacy of a top-tier home rental. The all-inclusive plan allowed us to all relax and let the lovely staff take care of all the meals. The food was delicious and the options abundant, easily meeting them desires of our grands, who wanted familiar tastes, through the more adventurous of our adults who wanted to try Caribbean foods. The taxi drivers arranged for us by Nicole were kind and considerate of us all. Kids Club provided a nice breather for the moms and dads a few times and entertained the kids (ages 4-10). The Palm became a reliable comfort spot for all three daily meals, interspersed with casual poolside lunch eats at Carolyn’s and fine dinner dining with breathtaking sunset views at The Cove. Nicole kept us informed about special events like rum and wine tastings for the adults and a magician show for the kids. She also made sure our laundry was done and turned around in the course of a day. When Nicole had to be away, the others on the concierge staff filled in with grace and excellence. The water sports staff made sure we were safe for sailing, kayaking and snorkeling, all of which were huge fun. At Rock Cottage, we had dedicated overnight security due to its secluded location, but we felt 100% safe at all times on all parts of the resort property. We were all so sad to leave our visit to paradise. Thank you to all at Blue Waters who blessed us with such a fantastic vacation experience!
