What’s the weather like in Side in March?
Located on the south coast of Turkey, Side is a popular beach destination with a Mediterranean climate bringing hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters to the resort. Temperatures are pleasant in March as spring sets in, but even though there’s a lot less rain than over winter, this is still a wet month for the region. If you visit Side at this time of year you’ll need to pack for all weathers, with a waterproof jacket as well as summery clothes for days in the sunshine.
In March, the average temperature in Side is 13ºC, reaching highs of 18ºC in the warmest part of the afternoon. With temperatures dipping to 8ºC later on and around 100mm of rain expected over the course of the month, you’ll need plenty of warm layers as well as a waterproof or umbrella. There are still seven hours of daily sunshine in March though, and the Mediterranean waters measure a refreshing 17ºC.
