What’s the weather like in Alcudia in October?
In keeping with the rest of Majorca, Alcudia has typical Mediterranean weather as its part of the Balearic chain. As autumn sets in temperatures are cooling although you’ll still get plenty of warm and sunny weather in October. It’s the wettest month of the year although the Serra de Tramuntana mountains offer some shelter from wind and rain. This makes Alcudia great for a dose of autumn sun, especially if you prefer cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.
The average high in Alcudia is 23ºC in October, which is still perfectly warm enough for you to lounge by the pool or at the beach. You should bring some warmer things for the evenings though as temperatures cool to 14ºC at night. At 22ºC, the sea’s nice and refreshing, while humidity’s low. There’s 63mm of rain over 12 days, although you can still expect 11 hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be moderate. Sunset’s around 7.30pm at the start of October which gradually moves to 5.45pm by the end of the month because of daylight saving.
