As summer hits its peak, the resort of Alcudia on the north coast of Majorca is sizzling with the hottest temperatures of the year. On average the temperatures in Alcudia hover around 25°C in the daytime in August. With highs of 30°C you’ll need to wear plenty of sun cream and seek shade in the hottest part of the day. For days on the beach the sea temperature is a balmy 26°C, perfect for swimming, snorkelling or having a go at water sports. In the evenings temperatures dip to 19°C, ensuring evenings are pleasantly mild. With around 20mm of rain expected over the course of the month, there’s a small chance of wet weather, but any showers or thunderstorms will be short-lived.
