What's the weather like in Sorrento in July?

Located on the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy, Sorrento is a popular holiday destination. It has a Mediterranean climate that brings mild, damp winters and hot, dry summers to the town. In July the weather’s typically warm and sunny, perfect if you want to spend your days relaxing on the beach or trying out new water sports in the balmy seas. If you do visit at this time of year, make sure you take plenty of sun cream and seek shade in the hottest part of the day.

In July, the average temperature in Sorrento is a warm 24°C, rising to 29°C in the hottest part of the afternoon. After dark temperatures dip to a low of 18°C, so you may need a light jacket for evenings out. Just 25mm of rain’s expected over the course of the month, so you won’t see much wet weather. The Mediterranean waters in the Bay of Naples are an inviting 26°C, ideal for swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear seas.
