Weather in Egypt

Egypt has a hot, dry desert climate. February to April and October to November are the best times to visit for warm sun and blue skies. But watch out for sandstorms caused by the khamsin winds which sometimes hit between March and June. Summer days can get hot at 40°C and above. Winters are mild with cool nights, some clouds and the occasional rain shower.
