Rovinj is on the west side of the Istrian peninsular of north Croatia. It’s a superb fishing and harbour town by the North Adriatic Sea. Resorts in the north usually have slightly cooler and wetter conditions than those in the south, such as Brac Island, but on warmer days this can be very refreshing.
