    Playa Del Carmen weather November

What’s the weather like in Playa del Carmen in November?

Since it’s so close to the equator, Playa del Carmen weather in November tends to be warm and dry with plenty of sunshine to enjoy each day. It’s also the beginning of winter, which means you’ve skipped the wet season and can bask in the Mexican sun for as long as you like.

    Geographical influences

Located on the east coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico, Playa del Carmen has a lovely tropical climate with lots of warm sunshine for you to enjoy. Its location on the Atlantic coast means that the resort can experience strong winds and hurricanes during peak season (June – November). However, serious hurricanes are very rare and November tends to be one of the more peaceful months to visit.

Despite the fact that’s it’s the start of winter, November sees an average daily temperature of 29°C and lows of 21°C at night. The sun shines down on Playa del Carmen for 11 hours a day, giving you plenty of time to sunbathe beneath a palm tree or shop for great bargains in the centre. There’s an average rainfall of just 33mm in November, which usually falls over the course of three days. This means it’s very unlikely that you’ll see any signs of rain during your stay, allowing you to continue to soak up the sun and heat without being interrupted by a surprise shower. Humidity hovers around 79% with average wind speeds of 10mph.
