What’s the weather like in Cancun in July?
Sitting on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Cancún has a stunning setting on the Caribbean Sea. The resort’s one of the country’s best holiday destinations, and you’ll get high temperatures and lots of sun if you’re going in July. The wet season’s from May to October, although there’s much less rain in July compared to wettest month September. If it does rain it’s usually in short and sharp downpours.
The average high in Cancún reaches 33ºC in July, so it’s perfect weather if love being nice and warm. There’s 115mm of rain over five days and you can expect 13 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be extreme so take sun cream with you. Sunset’s around 7.30pm.
