Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Cancun in January?
Cancún’s one of Mexico’s best holiday destinations, and has tropical weather with high temperatures all year round. This is because it’s at the tip of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea. You'll get lots of sun if you're going in January, which is a great time to visit as it’s in the dry season. This is from November to April, so January’s one of the year’s driest months. If it does rain it’s usually just a short shower.
Averages
The average high in Cancún is 28ºC in January, so it’s perfect for escaping the chilly UK weather. Things stay nice and warm in the evenings, which only cool to 18ºC. The sea temperature is 26ºC, which is lovely for swimming, while humidity’s moderate. There’s 69mm of rain over six days, and you can expect 11 hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be high so make sure you bring plenty of sun cream. The sun goes down at around 6.30pm through most of the month.
