What’s the weather like in Whistler in April?

The Whistler weather in April shows a big rise in temperature from the cold of winter and early spring. Temperatures around this world-class Canadian ski resort can occasionally hit double figures on the best days and won’t drop below freezing during the day. There’s still lots of snowfall and the sunshine’s very pleasant for April.

Geographical influences

The weather in Whistler in April is influenced by the beautiful Coast Mountain range around the town and ski resort in south west Canada. These mountains can get between 30cm and nearly 200cm of snow in April and the temperature drops by around 8°C on higher ground.
