What’s the weather like in Majorca in December?
Majorca’s part of the Balearic island chain that’s off the east coast of Spain. The island has mild winters that make Majorca a great place for a winter escape, and you’ll find that the amount of rain’s reducing after the wetter autumn. Majorca’s the largest of the Balearics and is quite mountainous, which means there’s different weather across the island. You’ll be warmest and driest in the south because of north westerly winds, and breezes will keep you cool on the coast along with the local embat wind.
The average high in Majorca is 17ºC in December, so it’s still lovely and mild. Things can get quite chilly in the evenings though as it cools to 8ºC. The sea temperature’s 17ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 48mm of rain over seven days, and you can expect nine hours of daylight with five hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be low. Sunset’s around 5.30pm.
