    What's the weather like in Oman in August?

    Oman is a fascinating Middle Eastern country with incredible landscapes and hot weather all year round. With its dry desert climate, temperatures are high during most months and August has some of the hottest temperatures of the year. If you’re in Oman during this month, try to take precautions to avoid getting sunstroke. Apply lots of high factor sun cream regularly throughout the day, stay well hydrated and seek shade between 11am and 3pm.


    In Oman’s capital, Muscat, the average temperature in August is 32ºC. With incredible highs of 35ºC and lows of 28ºC, you’ll need to be careful in the sun, and air conditioning in your hotel room is a good idea.
