    Kardamena weather February

What’s the weather like in Kardamena in February?

As it’s the last month of winter, you can expect a slight increase in temperature averages towards the end of the month. However, Kardamena weather in February is still quite cool and damp compared to the rest of the year. Geographical influences Set on the sunny south coast of the island of Kos, Kardamena enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate. Winters are generally mild with cold nights and quite a lot of rainfall. It’s sheltered by the surrounding mountains of Kappari and Kalymnos, but they don’t shield the Greek town from all the rain so an umbrella is often required. If you’ve travelled in winter for fewer crowds, you’ll enjoy sightseeing the ancient ruins of temples and some impressive Roman constructions.

February is one of the coolest times to visit Kardamena, so remember to pack for the colder weather before getting on your flight. There’s a daily average of 10°C with highs of 15°C. Overnight lows rarely drop below 8°C and you can expect stronger winds with an average speed of 18mph. Cloud coverage is likely towards the start of the month, but there’s still ten hours of sunlight each day. Humidity drops to 69% and the average rainfall is around 76mm over the month. The sea is a cool 16°C, which isn’t great for swimming.
