What’s the weather like in Koukounaries in December?
The Koukounaries weather in December is relatively cool and damp, which is expected from the island’s Mediterranean climate. Although it’s the coldest month, the weather is still considerably warmer than temperatures you’re used to at home at the same time of year.
Geographical influences
With its Blue Flag Beach and pine forest surroundings, Koukounaries is a picture-perfect town to visit at any time of the year. It sits on the southwest coast of Skiathos and overlooks the Northern Aegean Sea. The Mediterranean climate brings mild weather to the region in winter but it’s still quite rainy and you’ll need to pack an umbrella for your visit.
